As diversity, equity and inclusion face unending attack, one related element goes unnoticed: accessibility, the great distress for people with disabilities.

That is no small matter for Antonio Vieira Santos, Neil Milliken and Bianca Prins. Each of them has made DEIA a matter of basic necessity.

“It is urgent to address threats to DEIA initiatives amid political upheavals,” Santos said. “This situation emphasizes the emotional impact on the disability community, the need for solidarity and the importance of advocating for inclusive practices during ongoing challenges.”
