Inclusive communities foster a sense of belonging, unity and shared purpose among diverse groups of people, letting them feel valued and respected.

Regardless of backgrounds, community members promote collaboration, innovation and mutual support. Inclusive groups not only enhance social cohesion but also contribute to everyone’s overall well-being and growth so they can thrive together.

Active communities need builders, which is where the Uganda Alcohol Policy Alliance brings its expertise. The alliance is a national network of civil society organizations working to tackle alcohol-related harm in Uganda.

This concept is important because isolated and strained communities put pressure on everyone.
